Paul Fox has been practicing yoga intensively for 17 years and holds the British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma (1999), A two-year Ashtanga Yoga teaching diploma from John and Lucy Scott (2006) and a Yoga Sports Science© Yoga Sports Coach™ Diploma (2011). Paul teaches yoga days, workshops and professional development days for yoga teachers all over the UK. He also holds the PGCE professional teaching qualification and has trained around 50 yoga teachers. Paul has written regularly for the yoga press and works for the BBC, writing news bulletins for the Today programme on Radio 4. He is a bodyworker – in Swedish Massage, Indian Head Massage and Thai Yoga Massage. Paul has produced two DVDs, on Core Strength Yoga and Adjusting Students in poses.

 

 

Paul currently works with Cambridge United FC, teaching four 30 minute sessions a week with the first team and scholars. He has also worked with smaller groups of players identified from movement analysis as needing a specific yoga programme to address shortened hamstrings and weakness in the core. Previously Paul worked with Taunton FC. He also delivers a one-day British Wheel of Yoga CPD day on integrating sports people and athletes into yoga classes and meeting their specific needs. Paul has worked with a range of sports people in recent years, including cyclists and runners. He is hoping to develop his work into the lively Cambridge rowing scene in the coming years.

Paul is also a bodyworker in Swedish, Thai and Indian head massage and will complete a course in in Remedial Sports Massage in July 2013.
