Julie is a registered yoga teacher and Yoga Sports Coach™ working with a range of clients who seek performance benefits in day-to-day life and/or their sport. Many of her clients are seeking to build a sustainable and accessible practice that supports well-being and functional movement through enhanced mobility, strength, and balance. With consistent yoga practice, they begin to notice changes that impact the quality of their lives in small and significant ways; for athletes, this often translates into recovery and performance benefits.
Julie is experienced in working with those new to yoga and supports clients to progress according to their individual needs.
Julie was drawn to Yoga Sports Science™ by the systematic, less is more approach and the integration of biomechanical principles that, once understood, can be applied effectively for high impact. Through her practice and teaching, she developed a deep appreciation of the role that breathwork plays in enhancing practice, benefiting both day-to-day life and athletic performance.
Julie’s additional specialisms include:
Vinyasa Flow / Mindful Movement Yoga Teacher (200-hour training)
Yoga for the Stages of Menopause (40-hour training)
Yoga Nidra (50-hour training)
